Description

Children are learning all the time. We document their learning in order to gain a deeper understanding of who the child is, how they learn, and what we can do to facilitate their learning. This resource supports teachers to document children’s learning with ease so that it may be shared with other teachers, families and the child.

The resource shares our carefully designed ‘watch me explore’ framework and elaborates on the various lenses through which we may choose to view learning (holistic dimensions, schema, dispositions, Te Whatu Pōkeka, values and more).

The resource is primarily concerned with individual documentation but also has some notes on group planning in early childhood education contexts.
